Quatermain's Camp
Quatermain's Camp is a 1920s-style safari tented accommodation with 3 tents. Guests have a choice of pioneers, hunters and explorers of that time. Tent furnishings are military styled to give the feel of the 1920's era.

Quatermain’s Camp operates in a “Big 5” area where guests have a chance of seeing elephant, white and black rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion, as well as a variety of other game including hyena, cheetah, zebra, giraffe and many species of antelope. Smaller but no less members of this ecosystem as birds and plants are also a popular highlight in the area.

Quatermain's Camp Game Viewing
Amakhala Game Reserve offers breathtaking views and is home to an incredible array of wildlife including rhino, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, black wildebeest, zebra, tortoise and well over 16 antelope species. Experienced and knowledgeable rangers will accompany guests on all game activities, providing them with in-depth information about the region and its inhabitants. For guests seeking relaxation at its best, a slow cruise down the Bushman's River can be enjoyed. Exceptional bird viewing and sightings of game drinking at the river's edge can be enjoyed while canoeing down this very river. Guests are also given the opportunity of lion sightings in the famous Shamwari Game Reserve, situated next to Amakhala Game Reserve.
