Safarihoek Lodge Game Viewing and Activities
Etosha is one of the most unusual and iconic places in southern Africa and the hub of wildlife in Namibia, and Safarihoek is located in the private Etosha Heights Reserve. The rare opportunity to encounter black rhino and white rhino make the game viewing experience even more memorable. Mountain zebra, hartebeest, springbok, eland, ostrich, elephants, and lion are among frequently seen animals in the reserve, and Safarihoek’s daily game drives, in the morning, afternoon, and at night offer unbeatable opportunities to enjoy the abundance in total privacy. Dining in the bush is certainly an option and can be arranged, and just imagine the stars you’d see! In summer, the grasslands are lush, and the waterholes are full, while the temperatures rise into the 40s. In winter, the landscape takes on its new identity of greyed, grass-less landscapes and shrunken waterholes with wildlife gathering around them in high numbers. Day-time temperatures are warm and comfortable, and the nights are cold!
