Onduli Lodge
Onduli Ridge is located on a private concession in the Doro. Nawas Conservancy is in the heart of the Damaraland a mere 20 minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage site. The landscape consists of rugged folded hills, plains and wooded river valleys in a semi-desert sparse savannah. This area is home to the desert-adapted black Rhino and ‘Nawas’ means ‘the place where Rhinos roam’.
Onduli Ridge is named after one of the resident giraffes in the area and is built at the base of two south facing granite outcrops which are connected by a ridge. The camp is designed to maximise views of the extraordinary landscape and every space becomes a viewing point throughout the lodge. A King size bed cooled by its very own ‘climate conditioner’ (Evening Breeze) is also the perfect place for afternoon siestas. The camp exudes character and meticulous attention to detail meeting all details. This one is not to be missed!
