The semi-circular layout of Satao Camp provides guests with an excellent view of the central waterhole, always teeming with wildlife.

Satao Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Tsavo National Park is one of Kenya's oldest and largest parks. Tsavo East has a beautiful landscape and its proximity to the coast make it a popular safari destination. There is a wide variety of animals in the park, lion, leopard, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, serval cats, antelope, kongoni, lesser kudu, Oryx, klipspringer, impala, stripped hyena, gazelle, buffalo and elephants. More than 500 bird species have been recorded in this area, including ostrich and migratory kestrels. Tsavo East is recommended for photographers with its fabulous light and unbelievable views of the Mudanda Rock, Lugard Falls and Yatta Plateau.
