Serian Camp Game Viewing and Activities
In 1974 the Masai Mara National Reserve was declared a wildlife sanctuary. When paired with the Koiyaki / Lemek Conservation area the guests have access to the greatest concentration of mammals on earth. Through July to October one and a half million wildebeest, zebra and topi pass through the Masai Mara which Kenya is famous for, in what is known as The Migration. In their attendance are lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and possibly wild dog. Lion and leopard remain resident long after The Migration passes making the rest of the year no less exciting. Thompson and Grants gazelle, Coke's hartebeest, wildebeest, topi, eland and impala are commonly seen throughout the year.
