Sitatunga Private Island Camp
Sitatunga Private Island camp and suite is situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, a place with so many moods. It can entertain you intellectually and visually, satisfying all your senses each day as you drift on a mokoro through whistling reeds where painted frogs leap on and hitch a ride for just a moment.
This newest camp, set on an idyllic Okavango Island called Sitatunga Private Island is a reference to one of the most beautiful antelopes in Africa. Many of these antelope live around this island. We invite you to experience this Eden whilst on your personal or private journey. Sitatunga Private Island Camp’s design is a homage to the great fishing cultures of the Okavango. The buildings are designed like a fishing basket, set way up in the thick ebony forest canopy.

It is one of the few places on this planet where the rare Sitatunga antelopes slope out of the reeds on long hooves, keeping warm under shaggy coats. Daily game drives and guided walks will allow you to experience the amazing abundance of wildlife or why not relax on a moroko whilst making a slow trip on the river.
