Characterful en suite, stone chalets (some with private splash pools) are positioned in the shade of the riverine forest, overlooking the river. The widely acclaimed restaurant produces a la carte meals from an ever-changing menu and serves dishes at dusk with a spectacular view of the setting sun and the river ablaze as it slowly dips behind the trees.

Venturing further afield Thamalakane is an easy 20 minute drive from Maun, with it’s shopping centres and wonderful curio shops and the airport. Moremi Game Reserve is a hour and half's drive away and offers spectacular Big Five game viewing opportunities. The Okavango Delta is nearby at a 45 minute drive, and in addition to magnificent game viewing and scenic beauty, guests will be given the opportunity to learn more about the Delta, the ecosystem and its functioning – how the delta works, why it floods, the importance of flooding to the ecosystem, the effect of this on all animal life.
