This 4200 hectare game farm comprises of over 26 different species of animals and a diversity of birds. Wildlife at the reserve includes the rare black Impala, Rhino, Elephant, Lion, giraffe, buffalo, eland, and mountain zebra. Experienced and knowledgeable guides lead all game activities. Visitors have an excellent chance of experiencing close encounters with rhinoceros, lions, buffalo, giraffe, rare black impala and many more, in an exhilarating 3 hour guided game drive. The game drives take place in open 4x4 vehicles or quad bike and offers excellent game viewing opportunities. For guests who enjoy the smaller things in life, Botlierskop offers guided bush walks. The two hour guided walks explore diverse habitats like riverine forest, marsh areas, fynbos and plains, during which the guide will identify and explain the medicinal use of certain of the great African trees. There is also a good chance for guests to see Knysna Touraco, Knysna Woodpecker, Narina Trogon and all 5 kingfisher species.
