Hemingways Hotel Eden
Hemingway’s Eden is a lovely boutique residence and private gallery located in Karen, Langata's verdant outskirts. On the outskirts of Nairobi, the home borders the Giraffe Sanctuary woodland. By providing a platform from which guests can explore Nairobi in a unique way, Hemingway’s Eden Residence provides an immersive contemporary cultural experience.
Hemingway’s Eden Residence is set on leafy grounds and has nine rooms in total: three in the main house and five in the studio annexe and the cottage. The main house has a lovely open-plan dining area, bar, living room with fireplace and patio and spirituality room. The Studio Annex features three separate studio lofts, each with a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a living area above. Two additional bedrooms are located above a charmingly designed open-plan living room with a fireplace, bar and eating area. The sounds of hyena, bush babies, and other species living in the nearby wildlife sanctuary, a 100-acre indigenous woodland, fill the nights at Hemingway’s Eden Residence.

Hemingway’s Nairobi Hotel is nestled in the tranquil suburb of Karen, just 40 minutes' drive from Nairobi's international airport and between Nairobi National Park and the foot of the Ngong Hills. It is widely assumed that the suburb was named after Karen Blixen, the Danish author of Out of Africa, whose farm was only a 2-minute drive away from the hotel. The Nairobi National Park, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, famous for recovering orphaned elephants, and the Giraffe Sanctuary are all within walking distance of the hotel. Hemingways Nairobi is especially well-positioned for business travellers visiting Kenya, with easy access to Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airports and fast access to the CBD.
