On this very memorable 6 night safari trip, guests will be able to experience the majesty of huge herds of elephant and buffalo in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park. Famous for elephants numbering up to 30 000, Hwange is described as having the most diverse variety of wildlife, with over 100 species of mammals and 400 species of birds.
Arriving at Victoria Falls airport, guests will embark on their safari right away with a game drive through Ndebele villages and Hwange National Park en route to The Hide. Here, guests will spend their first three nights, before moving on to Mana Pools National Park for the following three nights at Zambezi Life Styles Camp. Mana Pools National Park has the country’s biggest concentration of hippos and crocodiles, as well as the large populations of elephant and buffalo, which flock to the permanent pools in the dry winter months.

Days 1 to 4 - The Hide, Hwange National Park
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls airport, you will be met and transferred via road into Hwange National Park. The first game drive takes place before guests even arrive at their first camp! Set in a huge private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park.
The accommodation at The Hide overlooks an active waterhole. Each of the spacious tents have en suite full bathrooms as well as an outside shower. The safari experience starts at your tent, with the surrounding bush teaming with wildlife. The guides at The Hide are exceptional, making this one of the best safari spots to visit in Hwange.
Days 4 to 7 - Zambezi Explorer, Mana Pools National Park
The legendary Mana Pools is known for its wildlife, rich flood plains and magnificent views of the Zambezi River. The river boasts some of Africa’s most amazing tiger fishing and adventure canoeing safaris, creating the perfect combination of beauty and fun and making this World Heritage site a must-visit National Park. You will be transferred by charter flight to the Zambezi Explorer camp after morning activities at The Hide.
The four twin-bed luxury mobile camp is set up near the Zambezi River, providing the opportunity to canoe and fish, either from the river bank or off an island in the middle of the river. All tents have ensuite bathroom facilities that include flushing toilets and hot bucket showers, giving Zambezi Explorer a luxurious camping reputation. A well-serviced mess tent with a dining and seating area forms part of the camp.
Day 7 - Depart back to Victoria Falls Airport
After breakfast and morning activities, guests are transferred by road back to Victoria Falls airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
