Days 1 to 2 - Arusha Coffee Lodge , Arusha
Guests will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport from where they will be driven to Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania. Here is where guests will spend their first night of this 12 night beach and bush safari - at Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Arusha Coffee Lodge is small and luxurious lodge and offers a beautiful setting in one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations. Offering a warm and friendly atmosphere with elegant interior, brick walls and rich wooden floors, Arusha Coffee Lodge offers a relaxed environment, perfect for the start of an adventurous tour of Tanzania's best safari areas. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and bar area at the lodge, while other activities, including horse riding and mountain bike rides, can be arranged. Guests can also enjoy nature walks on the coffee estate, barbecue dinners, African buffets, and wood-fired pizza meals can also be arranged. A visit to one of the local villages is also an option for a touch of culture.
Days 2 to 5 -
Chada Kavati
, Kavati National Park.
From Arusha, guests will take a scheduled light air transfer to Kavati National Park airstrip, from where they will be driven to their destination; Chada Kavati Lodge.
Chada Katavi Camp is situated in the midst of Katavi National Park, in western Tanzania; rated by many visitors as one of the best wildlife destinations in Africa. A true "off the beaten track" safari experience. Chada Katavi offers a unique position with magnificent views from its elevated vantage point. Accommodation is elegant and offers only 6 spacious tents with en-suite facilities ensuring a personal safari experience. This part of Katavi National Park is remote and offers superb game viewing opportunities; the valleys and plains around the camp are teeming with wildlife and offers large concentrations of hippo and crocodile, as well as the last great herds of buffalo in East Africa. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities including game drives and guided bush walks or simply enjoy the spectacular views from the privacy of your tent.
Day 5 - Depart back to Arusha Airport
Guests are transferred by road back to the airstrip to take a scheduled light air transfer to Arusha Airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
