Days 1 to 3 - Kulala Desert Lodge , Sossusvlei
Kulala Desert Lodge is the clsoest ldoge to Sosssvlei and at the foot of a large dune. The rooms are a mix of canvas and thatch built on decks, all with a flat room so you can sleep out under the stars. Each room has spectacular views over the Namib.
Sossusvlei is situated within the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world, which is part of the Namib Naukluft National Park that stretches 400km south of Walvis Bay. The Kulala Wilderness Reserve offers desert-adapted wildlife such as ostrich, springbok and gemsbok. Sossusvlei is where huge red dunes and flat valley floors make up the archetypical view of the Namib that is world famous.
Days 3 to 5 - Damaraland Camp , Torra Conservancy
For the following two nights in the Namibian outback, guests fly to Damaraland Camp in the Torra Conservancy in Damaraland. This is an award-winning camp, remotely situated high on the north bank of the Huab River in a prime wilderness area in Namibia. It offers sweeping views across stark plains, ancient valleys and the Brandberg Mountains. The camp consists of 10 spacious, ensuite units that are raised off the ground and adorned with thatch roofs. Chalets are lavishly equipped with a walk-in dressing area and a large deck from where guests can enjoy the wonders of the desert.
Activities at Damaraland Camp include guided nature drives, walks and mountain biking, giving guests the opportunity to see species such as desert-adapted elephant, gemsbok, greater kudu springbok, and occasionally cheetah, as well as, black rhino. Evenings at the camp present an open campfire and outdoor boma for atmospheric star-gazing and socialising.
Days 5 to 7 - Ongava Lodge , Etosha National Park
Last stop is Ongava Lodge in Namibia'a famous Etosha National Park. Ongava Lodge is situated along the southern boundary of the National Park in the privately-owned 30 000 hectare Ongava Game Reserve. This prime positioning gives guests at Ongava Lodge easy access into the superb wilderness and the opportunity to view some of Namibia's most superb game species.
Ongava Lodge offers 14 luxury, spacious ensuite chalets made of rock and thatch, while presenting perfect views on private decks. The main lodge consists of a lounge, dining room and bar, offering views over of the waterhole, a swimming pool, and curio shop and reception area. Meals are either served in the main dining area under thatch with a view over the camp's waterhole, or on the dining deck under the stars. In between exhilarating game walks and drives, guests will spend their last two nights on safari at Etosha's first luxury lodge.
Day 7 - Depart back to Windhoek Airport
After breakfast and morning activities in Etosha National Park, guests are flown back to Windhoek airport in time for their onward travel arrangements.
