This trip visits the lesser-known Thornybush Private Reserve, part of an association of private reserves sharing unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park and the historical Sabi Sand Reserve, where leopards some of South Africa's best leopard sightings take place.

Days 1 to 3 - Royal Malewane , Thornybush Private Nature Reserve
Arrive at Johannesburg airport where you will make your way to the Federal Air departure lounge, before catching your chartered flight to Royal Malewane airstrip in the Thornybush Reserve. Upon arrival at Royal Malewane airstrip, you will be met by a game ranger who will road transfer you to Royal Malewane. Here, you will stay for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis inclusive of game viewing activities.
Royal Malewane provides an escape from the constraints of modern life to a synthesis of wildest Africa and age-old colonial splendour. Experience brilliant Big 5 game viewing while being guided by expert game rangers and trackers in open 4 x 4 vehicles.
Days 4 to 7 - Lion Sands Ivory Lodge , Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
After your morning game activity and brunch, a game ranger will transfer you to the Royal Malewane airstrip, from where you will be charted to Skukuza airport by Federal Air. Upon arrival at Skukuza airport, you will be met by a game ranger who will road transfer you to Lion Sands Ivory Lodge, for a 3 night stay on a fully inclusive basis plus game viewing activities.
Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is ultra luxurious, yet simple and uncluttered. The lodge is about overriding exclusivity with complete privacy, where each suite is operated as a private villa. Neither word nor photograph can capture the sense of the pure beauty at this private wildlife retreat.
Day 7 - Depart back to Johannesburg or Cape Town
After your morning game activity and brunch, a game ranger will transfer you to the Skukuza airport, from where you will be charted back to Johannesburg airport by Federal Air, in time for your onward travel arrangements.
