Offering incredible vistas over the Chobe River and floodplains, each luxurious room has a private plunge pool. Game viewing is outstanding in this quieter corner of Chobe. After 3 nights you will fly from Kasane to the private Khwai Concession and the original Machaba Camp. This classic tented safari camp offers safaris in open 4x4’s, walking and by mokoro. Your last 3 nights are spent at Gomoti Plains Camp, located in near the seasonal Gomoti River. Offering waterbased activities like mokoro and motorised boating, as well as game drives and walking, Gomoti Plains is the perfect camp to end this epic Machaba Magic safari.

Day 1 – 4- Ngoma Safari Lodge , Chobe National Park
On arrival in Botswana at Kasane International Airport, you will be met by the team from Ngoma Safari Lodge and transferred by road to Ngoma Safari Lodge. On arrival you will be greeted by panoramic views across the Chobe floodplain and the Chobe River, and quite possibly large herds of elephants that the Chobe area is famous for. Ngoma Safari Lodge enjoys an elevated view, with each chalet overlooking the river. These luxurious and large chalets all have indoor and outdoor living areas, indoor and outdoor showers plus a private plunge pool.
Activities at Ngoma Safari Lodge include game watching from your own deck, breakfast and lunch cruises on the Chobe River, full day game drives in Chobe National Park complete with picnic lunch, night game drives into the Chobe Forest Reserve, seasonal fishing and more!
Day 4-7- Machaba Camp , Khwai Private Concession
After breakfast and your morning activity, you will be transferred by road back to Kasane Airport for a light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta area and the private Khwai Concession. The Machaba Camp team will be waiting to take you into camp, your game viewing starts now! Located within a riverine forest on the Khwai River, Machaba Camp offers a luxury yet authentic safari experience in classic safari tents. Each tent at Machaba Camp has a private sitting area outside and are all ensuite. Each tent also has an outdoors shower.
Activities at Machaba Camp include morning and evening game drives in open safari 4x4 vehicles, mokoro trips, night drives and walking. The Khwai area is well known for outstanding game viewing.
Day 7-10- Gomoti Plains Camp , Okavango Delta
After your morning activities and a sumptuous brunch, you will be transferred by light aircraft to Gomoti Plains Camp in the Okavango Delta. The perfect camp to end your Machaba Magic safari, Gomoti Plains Camp offers the quintessential Okavango Delta safari experience. Each of the luxurious tents has a private deck with sitting area and large modern ensuite bathrooms. Each tent also has an outdoor shower area.
Activities at Gomoti Plains Camp are varied, and being in the Okavango Delta, does offer more water-based activities (water level dependent). Enjoy motorised boating safaris along the crystal clear waterways of the Okavango Delta, quiet mokoro trips, traditional morning and evening game drives as well as walking and night drives.
Day 10- Depart to Maun Airport
Say goodbye to Botswana as you have a morning activity followed by brunch, before flying to Maun Airport for your onward travel.
